Secure Living Online is a pioneer in the field of personal safety for the blind and visually impaired. We have presented at the AER NYS Conference, presented to the professionals who work with populations of blind of visually impaired on a daily basis. We have also taught teenagers and adults who are blind or visually impaired. And, we have trained staff at Hunter College. The Central New York Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired and Secure Living have produced Public Service Announcements which air throughout Central New York. Grandmaster Crandall co-authored the book Moving Beyond Disabilities including techniques for people who are blind or visually impaired.

We teach how to use adaptive equipment such as the long folding cane as a tool for personal safety.
